POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Project Manager – ITS & Health Informatics role focuses on managing technology-focused projects that impact the Electronic Health Record and other ITS systems. Using both primarily scrum/agile methodology, the project manager will support tasks related to prioritizing, operationalizing and implementing ITS projects, including health informatics, technology implementations, and clinical applications. The position aims to enhance project coordination, communication, and execution across ITS and Clinical/program staff. The Project Manager will set up and oversee Change Control Board processes, prioritize development queues, and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Operational Support:
• Manage all work to support the Change Control Board.
• Coordinate project activities between Health Informatics, program staff, and other support departments
• Analyze and prioritize the development queue, including all tickets for review and development.
• Support the strategic roadmap of ITS updates
• Create and maintain tables and tracking systems to monitor project statuses and priorities.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
• Engage stakeholders from program and ITS to align goals and timelines.
• Organize and participate in Change Control Board Executive-level meetings where decisions are made on project direction and priorities.
• Set up and facilitate meetings at both executive and program levels, including preparing agendas.
• Follow up between Health Informatics and program staff to ensure seamless collaboration and execution, including ensuring the program’s requirements are met in the solution being developed
Documentation and Process Development:
• Document Change Control Board project activities and decisions.
• Develop workflows, best practices, and compliance documentation for ITS and Health Informatics projects.
• Identify risks impacting project timelines or outcomes and develop mitigation strategies.
CORE COMPETENCIES for the position include:
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Lean Six Sigma/Kanban/Change Management methodologies and overall project management experience in IT or IT adjacent fields.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in using data to guide project decisions, including experience with analytical tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Ability to map processes, document workflows, and create tracking systems.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration across departments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; capable of presenting complex data and project updates effectively.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science or IT related fields; master’s degree in informatics, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/LANGUAGE PREFERENCE:
• Certification in Scrum, Agile, Change Management methodologies, or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience managing technology projects, quality improvement initiatives, familiarity with healthcare applications and electronic health care record systems/EMR, and/or integration of informatics systems.
COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Familiarity with Project Management Software (MS Project experience preferred but not required)
• Experience with IT ticketing systems and tracking tools (e.g. SysAid, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
VISUAL AND MANUAL DEXIERITY:
• The candidate should be able to read documents for analytical purposes such as computer information, software, computer graphic design programs, etc.
• Limited applications of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

• The work environment involves no physical risk or hazardous conditions.
• To perform the essential functions of this job, the candidate is routinely required to sit (90% of the time) and stand (10% of the time).
