What is an average day like in your role at The Jewish Board?

My day involves providing hands-on support to individuals in the program, ensuring their needs are met and helping them navigate daily activities. I work closely with each person, offering guidance, encouragement, and care while maintaining a safe and structured environment. My favorite part is building meaningful relationships with the individuals I support and seeing their growth over time. It brings me joy to know that I am making a difference in their lives every day.

Why do you think our value “Embrace Each Other’s Differences” is so important?

Embracing each other’s differences is important because it allows us to respect and understand people from all walks of life. As an African American woman from the South, I’ve learned the value of honoring cultural backgrounds and life experiences. This understanding helps create a more supportive and compassionate environment for everyone.

What song or album do you listen to when you need a burst of energy?

When I need a burst of energy, I love listening to music from the 1960s. The rhythm and soul of that era always lift my spirits and keep me going throughout the day.
