Even before you become part of The Jewish Board family, we want to see you succeed and thrive, so when you find a role that is right for you and decide to apply, our Talent Acquisition team is ready to support you.

CANDIDATE JOURNEY

Supporting you before day one.

Here’s what to expect
after applying to a role:

  1. Reviewing your application

After you fill out the application and hit “submit,” you’ll receive a confirmation email and our Talent Acquisition team will start reviewing your application. If you meet the role’s requirements, a Hiring Manager will reach out to you to learn more about you and your interests.

Sometimes a position may no longer open, or it’s not the best fit for your skills and work history. If that’s the case, our Talent Acquisition team will email you to let you know. They may also share other open positions that are a better match for your skills.

  2. scheduling your interview

After your initial discussion with the Hiring Manager, they will schedule an interview with you within 72 hours. Depending on the role for which you are interviewing, it might be a one-on-one interview, a group interview, or several rounds of interviews with different members of the team that you’ll be joining.

  3. receiving an offer

Once you’ve completed the interview, if the Hiring Manager is interested in hiring you, a member of the Talent Acquisition team will call you with an offer! It will contain some basic details, like salary and scheduling, to make sure you are interested in accepting the position.

If you agree to the offer, you will be sent an official offer letter within 24-48 hours to review and sign.

  4. completing your documentation

Congratulations on accepting a position at The Jewish Board! We are excited to welcome new people to the team. To help make sure you start off on your best foot, you will connect with our Preboarding team who are dedicated to helping you complete any required background and credentialing documentation.

Once your documentation is completed and cleared, you will get your start date and be invited to our New Hire Orientation.

  5. Attending new hire orientation

You’re now part of The Jewish Board family! Our New Hire Orientation takes place over two days and helps you learn more about The Jewish Board, our payroll and benefits, and how to get support in the future.

  6. start creating moments that matter

After New Hire Orientation, you’ll join your team and start to get any specific information you need to succeed in your new role. Congratulations–you’re ready to start creating moments that matter!
