Frieda, Social Worker
Learn how Frida creates a ripple effect of growth and excellence across her entire team and how that supports clients in their care.
What is your average day like at The Jewish Board?
An average day for me centers around providing therapy to individuals, groups, and families.
What is your favorite part about the work you do?
It’s a joy to have the privilege of witnessing clients navigate both profound challenges and significant triumphs. Observing individuals gain insight into their own strengths and capacities and empower themselves to build or rebuild a life that aligns with their aspirations is a deeply meaningful and rewarding aspect of my job.
Why do you think the value “Strive to be Outstanding” is so important?
I embrace the ongoing journey of this value. When we deliver high-quality care, foster meaningful therapeutic connections, and continually seek to expand clinical skills and expertise, the pursuit of “striving to be outstanding” is both ongoing and enriching. This dynamic process allows for continuous growth and refinement.
What song or album do you listen to when you need a burst of energy?
When I feel the need for an energy boost, I use a flexible, uncomplicated approach to self-care that responds to what my needs might be in the moment. That can mean anything from taking a walk to socializing to listening to instrumental music. All of these help me manage my energy and support my well-being.
