Grief Support Rooted in Jewish Values

Enduring Light

Enduring Light is a program of The Jewish Board that helps individuals and families who have experienced loss. We are available right after a loss, but we can also support you in the years that follow. Grounded in Jewish values, we provide compassionate care and community. We give you a space to talk about end-of-life, death, and mourning. Our goal is to help people honor their loved ones and find others who understand.

Grief is deeply personal, but it doesn’t have to be faced alone.

How We Help

Our professional team uses Jewish values to help people on their personal paths of healing after grief. With you, we:

  • Create a safe, welcoming space to talk about experiences and feelings without judgment.
  • Build connection and mutual support with others who have experienced loss.
  • Provide resources that let people understand and process grief.
  • Reduce stigma around discussing death and dying.
  • Support you, your family, and your community with compassion.

Our care is rooted in Jewish life. It includes:

  • Individual and group support
  • Peer-led communities
  • Resources, training, and education
  • Community programming
  • Support connected to Jewish holidays

Our team can also connect you to other services at The Jewish Board as needed.
