Jewish Community Services

Integrating mental and behavioral health services with spirituality, combining the richness of Jewish traditions with social work practices.

Our Jewish Community Services offer individuals, families, and communities therapeutic services, spiritual and group counseling, workshops, consultations, trainings, and more. We also work within the community, offering services through Jewish organizations, such as synagogues, JCCs, Y’s, and schools, to enhance their services and programming.

We are here to support Jewish New Yorkers of all backgrounds, including Reform, Conservative, Orthodox, Chasidic, Reconstruction, and unaffiliated, in addressing serious illness or injury, end-of-life care, loss and bereavement, making healthy life choices, addiction recovery, and other community care and support concerns.

HereNow

HereNow is a Jewish teen-led mental health movement that supports wellness and emotional resilience through creativity, events, and innovative online platforms.

We provide a platform and network for teens to meet, share what matters to them, and include their friends and peers in the conversation. The more open teens are about their feelings and challenges, the more open their friends, classmates, and families are likely to be about theirs.

Who is eligible?

Our counseling centers provide services regardless of a person’s ability to pay–this includes the underserved, those with little to no income, those that are insured as well as those who are uninsured or on Medicaid. We also provide care to active-duty military personnel and veterans.
