Domestic and family violence can be physical, mental, emotional, or financial.

We offer a safe place to stay for you and your children, as well as resources to address any mental health needs you might have. We will also work to provide further intervention to ensure the long-term safety of your family.

Our intake team will connect you to experienced staff at a program located throughout the five boroughs who will help assess your needs and set up services.


Our care plans are individualized to provide you the best care possible. Our team speaks a wide range of languages, including English, Spanish, Russian, and Haitian Creole.


We serve people of diverse religions, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, and physical and intellectual abilities, and accept Medicaid and most major insurance plans.

What are our emergency shelters like?

  • Emergency shelter is available for victims of domestic violence and their children.

What do we provide to help someone in their recovery?

  • Our services include crisis intervention, domestic violence advocacy, and counseling services such as individual, group, and family therapy and parent support groups.
  • We can help prevent abuse, neglect, or removal of children from their homes. We team with licensed social workers, psychiatrists, trained volunteers, and other professionals in the fields of education and psychology, and the family to create a plan for each family based on individual needs and strengths.

Who is eligible?

We provide services regardless of a person’s ability to pay–this includes the underserved, those with little to no income, and those who are uninsured or on Medicaid. We also provide care to active-duty military personnel and veterans. We accept most major insurance plans.
