Impact Spotlight: Domestic Violence

Intimate partner violence continues to be a serious issue in New York City. For decades, The Jewish Board has provided safe harbor and support for families experiencing domestic violence. Now, we’re proud to offer specialized supports. Culturally sensitive programs such as The Lev Initiative remove barriers that might otherwise stop Jewish families from getting the help they need. Watch our video here to learn more about how The Jewish Board is helping New York families.
Expanding Excellence with Staten Island Connected Care

The Jewish Board’s dedication to providing the best mental health care available is at the center of our success. This spring, we are proud to unveil our newly renovated Staten Island Connected Care clinic, a state-recognized Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).

A CCBHC is a specialized mental health center that brings together a range of treatments and services, making it significantly easier to access care. Located at 1765 South Ave in Staten Island, this beautiful, revamped space has already made a difference. Thanks to an expansion in resources and renovation, the Staten Island clinic has increased access to care by 35% since last year.
