What we do can have an impact on someone’s life for many years, if not decades, to come. The strength and support provided by our staff is critical to fostering the recovery of the New Yorkers we work for every day.David Rivel, Chief Executive Officer
DAVID RIVEL joined The Jewish Board in 2011 as part of a planned transition of leadership. Prior to joining The Jewish Board, David was the Executive Director of City Parks Foundation, which he built into one of New York’s premier not-for-profit organizations.
David is leading The Jewish Board in new directions as government funding changes the way human services are paid, working with the Board of Trustees to create a new strategic plan for the agency that focuses on data-driven and outcome-focused care. Its overarching statement of purpose reads: hope, recovery, and resilience guide our work, as we help individuals realize their potential and live as independently as possible.
