With professional mental health mentors, HereNow helps Jewish teens speak up for themselves and others about the challenges they're facing today. They'll learn to write mental health articles and create social media content for other Jewish teens and join a community of creative leaders to help others feel supported and understood. HereNow is a program of The Jewish Board, in partnership with UJA-Federation of New York and the Lynn and Jules Kroll family.
A Jewish teen-led mental health movement where they help lead the conversation.
How HereNow Works
HereNow helps teens write resources, engage their community, and advocate for teen mental health, all while embracing their Jewish values. We help teens do this by:
- Building opportunities for teen leadership
- Creating events and other outlets for creative expression
- Providing resources for teens to engage and learn
- Working with teen communities to strengthen their mental health knowledge
- Supporting teens as they discover how to lead and advocate
Along with writing articles and creating social media content, teens can participate in our:
- Teen Advisory Board
- Learn & Lead Fellowship
- Teen Mental Health Giving Circle
- Community Service Programs
- Mental Health 101 Courses
