Whether you are seeking mental health care, a safe place in which to recover, or resources for a loved one with an intellectual or developmental disability, The Jewish Board is here to empower you and all New Yorkers.

The Jewish Board can help.

At least one in five adult New Yorkers is likely to experience a mental health challenge in any given year, with less than 40% of those needing services actually receiving them. Infants, toddlers, children and teens—the most vulnerable members of our community—also face a range of behavioral, developmental, and emotional difficulties.

Our work is guided by clinical expertise and evidence-based practices, and uses early and appropriate therapies to prevent or reduce the severity of mental health conditions.

The Jewish Board’s counseling centers help people across the five boroughs meet their emotional and behavioral health needs with:

  • Assessment and ongoing counseling
  • Medication management
  • Evidence-based treatment
We provide services in English, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew, and many other languages. We provide culture- and gender-affirming care to support people of all backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community. We accept most major insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare, and offer sliding scale fees for the uninsured.
HELP is a phone call away.
