We are a substance recovery program that can help you work toward your unique recovery goals, including getting and staying clean and sober, getting a job, or returning to school.

At Brighter Pathways, you can get help through counseling, meeting with peers, receiving medication, building skills, and more! We support individuals and families, even in situations where a friend or loved one who is using is not in treatment with us.

Our Approach

We work with you to develop a path unique to you can best help you to stop using substances, make healthier choices, and achieve your recovery goals. To do this, we:

  • Build trust by being transparent about our program, services, and treatment.
  • Help you regain control of your life and care.
  • Build new relationships and heal old ones.
  • Help you build skills to deal with challenging situations in a healthier way.

Our Services

To support you on your journey to recovery, we provide the following services as needed:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Skills development
  • Relapse prevention
  • Psychiatric services
  • Medication to reduce cravings and/or address your mental health concerns
  • Nursing exams and referrals to medical doctors
  • Peer services and accompaniment to appointments
  • Remote and community-based services available
  • Onsite pharmacy for psychiatric medication and medications for substance use recovery (MAT)
  • Access to Care Coordination services, Individual Therapy, PROS services for adults living with severe mental illness. Co-enrollment is encouraged for those who are in need of and desire these additional services!
  • MetroCards for eligible participants

Brighter Pathways is for adolescents 12 to 17 years of age and adults 18 years and older who want to address their substance use, misuse, or addiction. Family members and loved ones are also encouraged to participate. We accept most third-party insurances, including Medicaid and Medicaid managed care plans.
