Jewish Board Bulletin: Spring 2026

See how we're supporting our communities with respect and a dedication to exceptional care.

As the weather warms, we at The Jewish Board look forward to a season of service, progress, and action. After a snowy and challenging winter season, spring inspires us to plan and project, looking ahead to the things we hope to accomplish over the year. We are excited to use that opportunity to reintroduce the Jewish Board Bulletin.

Included in this newsletter are examples of how we are applying our most closely held values through community, respect, and a dedication to exceptional care. We hope these updates inspire you to learn more about the lives of some of the 35,000 New Yorkers in our care.

Thank you for being a part of The Jewish Board community of supporters; your generosity of spirit through resources, time, or expertise makes our work possible.

Best,
Hannah Moore
Chief Development Officer

Impact Spotlight: Domestic Violence

Intimate partner violence continues to be a serious issue in New York City. For decades, The Jewish Board has provided safe harbor and support for families experiencing domestic violence. Now, we’re proud to offer specialized supports. Culturally sensitive programs such as The Lev Initiative remove barriers that might otherwise stop Jewish families from getting the help they need. Watch our video here to learn more about how The Jewish Board is helping New York families.

Expanding Excellence with Staten Island Connected Care

The Jewish Board’s dedication to providing the best mental health care available is at the center of our success. This spring, we are proud to unveil our newly renovated Staten Island Connected Care clinic, a state-recognized Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).

A CCBHC is a specialized mental health center that brings together a range of treatments and services, making it significantly easier to access care. Located at 1765 South Ave in Staten Island, this beautiful, revamped space has already made a difference. Thanks to an expansion in resources and renovation, the Staten Island clinic has increased access to care by 35% since last year.
