If a person seeks services from JBFCS, the agency may retain the data for service requests.

- The Jewish Board provides simple, industry-standard ways to unsubscribe or limit text communications:
- To opt out of receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.
- You may also request to be removed from our messaging list by contacting our One Call Unit (OCU) registration support team directly.
- If you later decide to resume text communications, you can re-enroll by replying START or by checking the opt-in box on your patient portal or intake forms.
- In addition, you can request your clinician to make the change on your behalf to the Electronic Health Record and document your preferences.
- We honor all opt-out requests promptly and retain opt-out preferences as part of your communication record.

If your message involves time-sensitive or highly personal information (such as mental health emergencies), we will re-route you to your care team or One Call Unit (OCU) and always act with discretion and prioritize your safety and confidentiality.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, opt-in consent data, or SMS content with third-party organizations, affiliates, or vendors for marketing, advertising, promotional campaigns, or non-clinical outreach.
